

John Anderson gives a free concert in Davie at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, March 1.
This weekend (Feb. 28-March 1) is the Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo in Davie, a 72-year-old tradition, which makes it one of the oldest traditions in South Florida.
Festivities start at 7 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, with a $4 Kiwanis pancake breakfast at the Moose Lodge. The Strawberry Festival begins at 8 a.m., and the parade starts at 10. Music, pioneer re-enactments, arts and crafts, Old West shoot-outs, kids’ play area and other activities are free all day Saturday and Sunday.
At 3:45 p.m. Sunday at the fairgrounds, country singer John Anderson will give a free concert.
The rodeo itself, which has an admission charge, is at 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
