And now, the official Cities on the Cheap contest, South Florida-style.

To celebrate the national launch of Cities on the Cheap blogs, we’re giving away a few books about money by South Florida authors, plus a few Webkinz just because they’re cute and my brother sells them.

To enter the contest, add a comment to this post with your favorite On the Cheap tip for South Florida. It could be an upcoming free event, a place you like to visit that’s always free or cheap, an ongoing discount, a favorite happy hour, the best place for a cheap dinner, a favorite discount shopping site — you get the picture.

All valid posts from my five Florida sites will be entered into a random drawing, and the winners can choose their prizes.

The contest is open through midnight Eastern time Friday, March 20. Contestants must be over 13, and those between 13 and 18 need their parents’ permission to enter. Entrants must provide a valid email address, and winners will be notified by email. Only those entries that include a cheap tip will be entered in the drawing. Comments are moderated, so will not appear immediately.
