Learn how to save water, and save money on your water bill, during Broward Water Matters Day 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Tree Tops Park, 3900 SW 100th Ave., Davie.
The county will also be giving away free native plants and trees, including pigeon plums, wild coffee and powderpuff mimosas. To receive two trees or plants, attendees must have their programs stamped at at last 12 exhibit booths.
Aactivities include face painting and craft workshops for children; rain barrel workshops and raffles; and music by environmental folk singer Grant Livingston.
Admission to Water Matters Day is free, but admission to the park is $1.50 per person. Children 5 and under are free. .
