The Little Clinic, at some Publix supermarkets, is offering free blood pressure and cholesterol screenings for adults during March. Children can be screened for child growth percentile/BMI.
The clinic will also supply handouts offering tips for healthy snacking, food portioning, reading labels, understanding a child’s growth percentile, and managing blood pressure and cholesterol.
In Broward, the Little Clinic is at Publix at 1305 University Drive
Coral Springs; 12500 W. Sunrise Blvd, Sunrise; 150 S Federal Hwy,
Deerfield Beach; and 170 S. Flamingo Rd, Pembroke Pines.
