Free talks by famous authors

lit-live-logoListen to free talks by 24 nationally known authors as part of the Broward Public Library Foundations’s Lit LIVE! celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21.

Participating authors include Joyce Carol Oates, Rita Mae Brown, Steven Coonts,  NPR’s Tom Gjelten and 2008 National Book Award winner for nonfiction

The event will be at Nova Southeastern University’s Alvin Sherman Library in Davie. LitLIVE! is an event of the Broward Public Library Foundation’s Literary Feast, a two-day celebration of books and authors.

NSU is providing free shuttle buses from the Main Library in downtown Fort Lauderdale to the Alvin Sherman Library at 9:15 a.m. and at 10:45 a.m., returning to the Main Library at 12:45 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. For reservations, call the Literary Feast Hotline at 954-357-5954.
