Free exterior latex paint is available to residents as part of a local recycling program.

The fresh gallons of recycled paint are blended from  a hodge-podge of leftovers dropped off at disposal sites for household hazardous waste.

The paint is  free to residents who live in cities that participate in the program, which is run by Broward County.

The paints are available in several hues, including turquoise, beige and terra cotta.
