Add AMC Theaters to the list of movie theaters offering cheap and free movies for kids this summer.
The AMC Summer Movie Camp shows a kids’ movie for $1 at 10 a.m. every Wednesday through Aug. 5. The proceeds go to Variety-the Children’s Charity, and the Will Rogers Institute.
This week’s feature is Madagascar: Escape to Africa.
AMC Theaters in South Florida are at Coral Ridge in Fort Lauderdale, Ridge Plaza 8 in Davie, Aventura Mall, CocoWalk, Mall of the Americas and Sunset Place in South Miami.
Free summer movies for kids are being shown at Regal Cinemas.

Ridge Plaza 8 is no longer an AMC theater.
