Hallandale Beach is offering a free workshops on saving water and other environmental topics.
Rainbarrels and Edible Gardening are among the featured topics. A dozen rainbarrels are being raffled, but participants in that activity must be Hallandale Beach residents, and show proof with a driver’s license and utility bill.
Also, folks who donate a youth book or nature book receive a free water conservation kit. The books are for libraries at city parks.
