Prizes and a puppet show are part of the festivities at a free event at the Nova Southeastern University library in Davie.
“Take a Bite Out of the Library” bash is 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at the library, 3301 College Ave., Davie, 954-262-4577.
The activities include
* Meet Elmo and Princess Reads Alot 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
* Mr. Brian and the Boppets’ Rock and Roll puppet show at 2 p.m.
* NSU cheerleaders and NSU mascot Razor are at the sign-up area for library cards 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Prizes at the event include tickets to the Broward Center for Performing Arts’ upcoming Family Fun Series, and the Sesame Street Live Elmo’s Green Thumb show.
