* Halloween Fun Fair presented by the Pompano Beach Parks and Recreation Department. This fair is Thursday, Oct. 29, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Various activities include a bounce house, spin art, games, refreshments and an antique fire truck. Youngsters also enjoy magic shows, face painting and the opportunity to parade across the amphitheater stage.
The event is at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater, 1801 NE Sixth St. Instead of $2 admission, the
organizers are requesting two canned goods which are going to be donated to a soup kitchen.
