Free Workshops on Holiday Finances

The Library at Nova Southeastern University in Davie is hosting two free workshops about personal finances related to the holidays.

The workshops  feature  advice about budgeting and saving money from university professors in the finance and taxation fields.

The workshops, Sound Financial Advice to Survive the Holidays, are Tuesday, Nov. 3,  7 p.m.  to 9 p.m.  and Saturday, Nov. 7,  11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The library is at 3301 College Ave., Davie.

The topics discussed include budgeting, saving and credit cards.
