Free ‘G.I. JIVE’ Lecture Series

Three free lectures on different topics are included in the program “G.I. Jive: World War II Across Three Theaters.”
The lectures, focusing on World War II milestones, are presented by Nova Southeastern University’s Library in partnership with Pembroke Pines and the Pembroke Pines Historical Museum.
Each lecture is at the Walter C. Young Resource Center’s Jim Davidson Theatre of the Performing Arts, at 901 NW 129th Ave., Pembroke Pines.
* D-Day Remembered for Veteran’s Day on Saturday, Nov. 7, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
* Pearl Harbor Remembered, Dec. 5, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
* China-Burma-India, Jan. 30, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
