Free Trees At NatureScape Event

Tips and techniques for environmentally-friendly landscaping are featured during a free event offered by NatureScape Broward in Oakland Park.
The event is Saturday, Nov. 21, 9 a.m. to noon at Rickards Middle School, 6000 N.E. Ninth Avenue, Oakland Park.
The event include demonstrations about landscaping that conserves water and provides habitat for wildlife, environmental education booths, a native tree and plant giveaway, music, workshops and ladybug releases.
