Fort Lauderdale is hosting an outdoor New Year’s event with activities for adults and youngsters.
Bounce house, games and music are among the highlights.
“Downtown Countdown” is Dec. 31 from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Southwest Second Street, from Southwest Second Avenue to Southwest Fifth Avenue.
Two rock bands, The Druids and Viva, are featured on stage.
The event is free. Food and drinks are sold.
