The Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale in partnership with IBM staff are offering several activities Saturday, Jan. 16 and Sunday, Jan. 17 that allow families to work as an engineering and design team.
The Design Squad challenges include making
—– rubberband-powered vehicles
—– paper-towel-tube tables
—– rockets
—– shuttles to keep eggs safe in a two-story drop
—– kicking devices for ping pong balls
The Design Squad Build It Challenge activities are free with regular admission to the museum, 401 SW Second St., Fort Lauderdale.
