Free Film and Discussion at NSU

The documentary “Soul of A People — Writing America’s Story” is going to be screened for free at an event that includes a discussion about the topic.

The film focuses on an historically noteworthy project, The American Guide series of travel guides, and the writers who particpated.

In addition to the movie, the event includes a discussion with the film’s director and one of the writers from the project featured in the documentary.

The event is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at Nova Southeastern University Center Performing Arts Theater, 3301 College Ave., Davie.
