Folks seeking to discard electronics and other items not suitable for the regular trash, here’s a free event.
Household waste and used electronics such as keyboards, motor oils, fax machines, rechargeable batteries and disc players may be dropped off pool supplies are accepted 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24.
The event is at 101 N. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Proof of Broward residency is required.
