Here’s something nice for our furry friends and the folks who love them.
Rabies vaccines and various other routine services for pets are offered occasionally by the Humane Society in Dania Beach. The next events are in March.
For cats — 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday, March 20
For dogs — 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday, March 21
No appointment is necessary. Simply go to The Humane Society of Broward County, 2070 Griffin Road, in the back parking lot. For information, phone 954-989-3977.
The fees are
* Regular Service Dog Package (dogs 4 months and older)
$35 if spayed or neutered; $50 if not spayed or neutered
Package includes: Rabies with Broward County tag (for Broward residents), 4 in 1 booster, bordetella
* Puppy Package (3 months and younger)
$25
Package includes: 4 in 1 booster, bordetella, dewormer
Cat Package (4 months and older)
$25 if spayed or neutered; $40 if not spayed or neutered
Package includes: rabies with Broward County tag, FVRCP, Revolution (1 dose)
Kitten Package (3 months and younger)
$15; Package includes: FVRCP, De-wormer
