Live bands, hula hoops and vintage automobiles are part of the festivities for the free Great American Beach Party in Fort Lauderdale.
The free event includes a screening of the movie Where the Boys Are for the films fiftieth anniversary.
One of the stars, Connie Francis, is going to at the event.
The party kicks off at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 29, along A1A, off Las Olas Boulevard. Activities for adults and kids include 50s and 60s music; limbo, Twister and hula hoop contest and hot rods in a Classic Car Show.
