In an effort to help control the cat overpopulation, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Sally Heyman, Miami-Dade Animal Services Department, Humane Society of Broward County and The Cat Network have joined forces to offer free spay/neuter service for cats Sunday, July 25, at Highland Oaks Park, 20300 NE 24th Ave., Miami.
The event is for stray and feral cats only, brought by Miami-Dade and Broward residents. Free rabies shot also available if needed, or provide proof of vaccination for cats over 4 months old.

Miami-Dade Animal Services provides spay and neuter services for $15 for cats owned by Miami-Dade residents, with rabies shots an additional $10.
