The Bank of America Starlight Musicals event in Fort Lauderdale is 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at Holiday Park on East Sunrise Boulevard and Federal Highway.
Lawn chairs, coolers and picnic baskets are permitted. Pets are not. Recycling bins are set up at the park. The concert is presented by the city of Fort Lauderdale Parks and Recreation Department, 954-828-5363.
To the north in Deerfield Beach, the Moonlight Melodies concert features Sepia, described as a jazz and roll band, performing at 7 p.m. Aug. 13.
The concert is at the Main Beach Parking Lot, a bit south of Hillsboro Boulevard. Phone 954-480-4433.
Refreshments are available for purchase and the parking meter fees are 25 cents for each 12 minutes.
