Kids and adults are invited to travel the rails on a functioning model train at Tradewinds Park.
The train, provided by Tradewinds Park and the Tradewinds & Atlantic Railroad Club, runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21 and Sunday, Aug. 22 — and other third full weekends of the month.
Tradewinds Park North is at 3600 W. Sample Road, Coconut Creek.
The train fee is $1 per person, per ride. Guests also pay weekend admission to the park, $1.50 for everyone age 6 and older. Parents must accompany kids age 10 and younger.
