
The emphasis is on humor at this film festival Labor Day weekend in Fort Lauderdale.
The event includes a free movie. This is Spinal Tap, directed by Rob Reiner, is being screened in the Paradiso Patio Courtyard at Cinema Paradiso, Sunday Sept. 5 at 10 p.m.
About 14 other films are part of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival Comedy-A-Thon Sunday and Monday at Cinema Paradiso, 503 SE Sixth St., Fort Lauderdale.
With ticket purchases, movie-goers receive a bonus — a voucher for free entry to the New York Comedy Club in Boca Raton.
The price per film is $3 for the public and $1 for members of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF). Weekend passes for access to all films are $15 for the public and $10 for FLIFF members.
