- Free landscaping lecture on organic fertilizer at Secret Woods Nature Center in Dania Beach Sunday, Sept. 5 at 3 p.m.
- Free film, Sunday, Sept. 5 at 10 p.m. at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival Comedy-A-Thon at Cinema Paradiso.
- Half-price entry to Everglades Bird Festival and other attractions at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, Monday Sept. 6. Free entry to the art and craft fair in the Flamingo Gardens courtyard.
