Toddlers, babies and pre-schoolers are treated to a fresh play space  at Broward Library in downtown Fort Lauderdaled esigned for babies and kids to age 5.

Along with toys and books, the play area features a village theme with activity areas including a  playhouse, stores,  a boat in the ocean and a train.

Active Learning Center is offered during Broward Main Library's regular hours, which are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays,  and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
