The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale is doing a National Week of Service Project this week to benefit the Ronald McDonald House.
From 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 23, you can get a free cup of iced coffee — from Ronald McDonald himself — if you donate a green cleaning product and drop it off in the lobby of the main building, 1799 NE 17th St.
Among the “green” item being sought are paper towels, laundry detergent, bleach, dishwasher soap, garbage bags, white bath towels and hand towels, and cleaning products.
