Whether you’re on your own boat or watching from the shore, the Pompano Holiday Beach Boat Parade is free.
The event launches 6 p.m. December 9.
Boats festooned with decorations glide north along Intracoastal Waterway from Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach to Deerfield Beach.
No entry fees are required for participating boats.
