Hollywood Bandshell
Free live entertainment featuring rock band Sippin Fire oceanside 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. June 18 in Hollywood. Hollywood Beach Bandshell on Hollywood Broadwalk is at 320 Johnson St., Hollywood.
Parking at the beach is $3 per hour Mondays – Thursdays and $4 per hour Fridays – Sundays. Residents of Hollywood may apply for a discounted rate. Parking information is available online.

Free entry day at the art venue is usually 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. third Sundays. Free entry includes art exhibits and often an family art project or activity. The activity June 18 is decorating plant pots and planting wildflower seeds.
Regular entry fees are $7 for adults, $4 for kids, students & seniors, free for , free ages 3 and younger, teachers, military & members.
Manatee Lagoon in Riviera Beach
Interactive educational exhibits, solar trees and opportunities for selfies are featured at a waterfront attraction in Riviera Beach. Entry is free. Manatee Lagoon, 561-626-2833, is at 6000 N. Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, parking is free.
Outdoor Bingo in Sunrise
Sunrise offers free outdoor Bingo. Participants receive a game packet for about nine games, while supplies last.
The events in 2023 include 5:30 p.m. June 18, and entry is free. Games are at 6 p.m. and prizes are offered. The park is at 6600 Sunset Strip, Sunrise. Parking is free. Bring a blanket or portable seat if you'd like. For information, phone 954- 747-4600, Sunrise parks and recreation department.
Bubbles in Dania
Dania Pointe offers free Bubble Bash displays. Dania Pointe is a shopping, dining and entertainment plaza that offers free live entertainment and events, including outdoor bubble displays June 18 and other weekends. Bubble displays are on the hour 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. Entry and parking are free.
Live entertainment in Hallandale
Gulfstream Park shopping, dining and entertainment plaza features live bands, including Entourage June 18, weather permitting. Bands usually play 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. outdoors, 901 S. Federal Highway, Hallandale . Parking is free.
Farmer's markets
If Dad likes fresh local food items, lots of farmers markets and vendor fairs offer an interesting array of items and produce, and sometimes entertainment and activities like free yoga.
