magic-moneyFree events, discounts and deals

Fort Lauderdale on the Cheap writes about as many discounts, deals and free events in Broward as we can at no charge to event organizers, businesses and organizations. We can’t write about everything, so we choose the events and discounts we believe will be of the most interest to our readers and offer the best value. You can send us news of:

  • Free events.
  • Substantial discounts on events, including special discounts for Fort Lauderdale on the Cheap readers.
  • Happy hours and restaurant discounts.
  • Other discounts and deals.

If you’d like to have your event or deal considered for publication, please send us all the details, including time, date, place, admission charge (if any), discount from the regular price and where people can find more information, including a link to the event or organization website and a phone number. The information should be in the body of an email, in text or Word format, not a PDF or a graphic. But we’d like to have an image that’s at least 300 px by 200 px to include with the post.

At least a week in advance of the event, send your information and artwork in .JPG format to [email protected]. We’re happy to accept tips from the public events and deals they hear about as well; please send as much information as you have to  [email protected] and we’ll try to ferret out the rest.

Paid Advertising and Giveaways

If you’d like to draw more attention to your event, consider a banner ad, a sponsored post or a leaderboard ad on a popular page. To find out more about advertising on Miami on the Cheap, email [email protected]

We also do giveaways for tickets to events and attractions and other prizes. If you’d like to work with us on a giveaway, email Teresa Mears at [email protected].
