If you enjoy tinkering with Legos, you’ll enjoy this exhibit in downtown Hollywood.

Artist Nathan Sawaya uses the plastic toy blocks  to make his impressive sculptures.

His pieces are on display at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, 1650 Harrison St.,  Hollywood.  Enjoy them free on Sunday, June 20  noon to 4 p.m.

The third Sunday of the month is Free Admission Day at the center,  954-921-3274.

For art aficionados and folks who appreciate free entertainment,  several events are available at various venues in Broward.

* The Weston Artwalk and Showtime Outdoor Festival features entertainment and dozens of local artists displaying pieces in a variety of mediums, including paintings, sculpture and jewelry. 

The free event is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21 at Weston Town Center off  Royal Palm Boulevard and Bonaventure Boulevard.  

* Island City Art Walk, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.  Friday, Feb. 19 on Wilton Drive between Sunrise Boulevard and Oakland Park in Wilton Manors, features artists exhibits and a free trolley. For information, phone 954-547-9014 or browse the Island City Art Walk webpage.
