Free blues concert in Coconut Creek

The Nucklebusters Blues Band will give a free outdoor concert at 7 p.m. Friday, March 13, at the Promenade at Coconut Creek, 4451 Lyons Road.
The performance is part of the City of Coconut Creek’s Home Grown Concert Series, which presents a free concert the second Friday of every month.

Free Sistrunk, Butterfly festivals

Two free events Saturday, Feb. 28:
* Sistrunk Historical Festival and parade in Fort Lauderdale. The parade starts at 9 a.m. and travels down Sistrunk Boulevard, where it ends with a big street festival at Reverend Samuel Delevoe Park with arts & crafts, food and entertainment. Orange Blossom festival, rodeo

This weekend (Feb. 28-March 1) is the Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo in Davie, a 72-year-old tradition, which makes it one of the oldest traditions in South Florida.

Free noontime concerts in Lauderdale
