The offer is valid April 12 to April 15 at participating AMC movie theaters.

AMC just released a coupon via its Facebook page: You can get a free small popcorn at participating AMC theatre locations.
The coupon is valid from only Dec. 2-4. You’ll need to print the actual coupon –no mobile versions will be accepted.

Yahoo Movies has partnered with Regal, United Artists & Edwards Theatres to treat you to 1 million bags of small popcorn.
The small popcorn is free, but hoop-jumping is required:
1) You will need to “like” Yahoo Movies on Facebook to get the deal.
2) When you get to the theatre, you’ll need to “check in” to get the deal, so you’ll need to enable location services on your phone. You’ve got two ways to do it: A) text “popcorn” to 35350 before you go, and they’ll send a link to the mobile site to your phone. Or you can go to http://popcorn.yahoo.net in your smartphone’s browser to get to the “check-in” prompts.
The promotion runs through Aug. 31, or until 1 million coupons have been redeemed. Unfortunately, there is no work-around for those of you without some type of smartphone device + a Facebook account.
FYI, don’t send yourself the coupon until you’re ready to use it. It’s good only until 8 a.m. on the day after it’s sent.

Here are two deals for free or discount snacks at the movies:
- Muvico has a coupon for a free small popcorn. You can upgrade to a large for $1. The coupon is good through Jan. 31.
- AMC Theaters has a coupon good for a free large Coke or other fountain drink when you buy a large popcorn. That coupon also is good through Jan. 31.

Here’s a nice tip we got from Doreen Christensen at the Sun-Sentinel’s Shop-O-Matic blog:
See five holiday movies at AMC theaters from now until Jan. 6, and you’ll get a voucher for $10 for a future movie. To take advantage of the “See 5, get $10” promotion you’ll need to save your ticket stubs. When you have five, you turn them in at an AMC box office. More details on AMC’s Facebook page.
To keep you from being thirsty while you watch the movies, you can use this coupon to get a free large Coke with a large popcorn purchase. You can use the coupon only once per movie ticket, but you can print it out and use it again on multiple visits.

Regal Cinemas has been offering coupons for free food and drinks to its fans on Facebook. This week’s coupon is for free popcorn.
“Like” Regal Cinemas on Facebook and you can get the weekly concession coupon. The current coupon is good for a free small popcorn, and it’s valid August 27-29.
