* Hollywood — Hometown 4th of July  at the Beach Theatre, Johnson Street and  Hollywood Beach, noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 4.

The event includes music along with games such as limbo and apple stacking.

At Charnow Park, 300 Connecticut St. in Hollywood, music and games  kick off at 12:30 p.m.

* Fort Lauderdale  — 4th Of July Spectacular on Fort Lauderdale Beach, includes family activities and entertainment 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 4. Holiday songs and dances from around the world are featured in Santa’s Holiday Revue.

Tickets to the musical are $15 at the door — or $10 if purchased before. The show is 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19 in the Cypress Bay Theater, 18600 Vista Park Boulevard, Weston.
