Free entertainment and activities are featured at a free event, The Great American Beach Party in Fort Lauderdale.
The Boogie Knights perform muscial hits from the disco era, and various other bands are featured at the festivities, which also includes an art show and kids’ activities. The free event is 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 25 at A1A and Las Olas Boulevard.
Activities include beach water slide, bounce houses, face painting, water balloon toss, limbo, Twister and hula hoop contests. The party also includes a classic car show and chalk artists. Information about the event and parking is featured on the website.
