Save $10 on a Wine & Food Festival by purchasing tickets early.

Tickets are $55 the day of the event, or $10 less early.  The event includes many types of international wines  to taste and food from a variety of venues.

The Seminole Hard Rock Wine & Food Festival is noon  to 5 p.m. Sunday Nov. 6 at Seminole Paradise in Hollywood.  The noon kickoff is for  guests who purchase $85 tickets.  For guests with less pricey general tickets, the event kicks off an hour later.

Some of the  ticket proceeds go to  Kids2Camp, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships to summer camp.

Tickets are available at Walgreen’s stores or online.

Entertainment, artists’ displays and kids activities are featured at a free event in Weston.

The fifth annual Weston Artwalk and Showtime Outdoor Festival is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday Feb. 27.

The event is at the Weston Town Center on Royal Palm Boulevard and Bonaventure Boulevard.

Two free festivals are on Saturday.

Various venues in Broward are offering free holiday-theme attractions and events.

North Broward

  • Pompano Beach — Yuletide On Atlantic Holiday Parade and Event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Thursday Dec. 9 on East  Atlantic Boulevard, east of the Intracoastal Waterway, Pompano Beach. The parade moves west  on Altantic Boulevard to McNab Park, 2250 E. Atlantic Blvd. At the park, the kids activities, photos with Santa and food are featured. Those who donate  canned food or used eyeglass are eligible to win a bicycle. If it rains, the event is rescheduled for Dec. 10.  954-786-4111.
  • The Coconut Creek High School Chorus and Band performs at Cococnut Creek City Hall, 4800 W. Copans Road, Thursday Dec. 16 9 a.m. to noon.

East Broward

  • Hallandale Beach — Holiday Celebration Friday, Dec. 10, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Village of Gulfstream Park, 501 S. Federal Highway. The event includes kids activities, entertainment, Santa, balloon artists, face painting and music. Food vendors are selling snacks and a fee is set for amusement rides. 954-457-1452.

Fort Lauderdale

  • Musical entertainment is featured at the free Light Up The Beach festivities, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23 at A1A and Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, 954-828-4746. 

                                 Hallandale Beach

  •  Symphony in Lights at The Village at Gulfstream Park, 501 S. Federal Highway,  features a  blinking display of  dancing lights set to recorded  music. Groove to a free performance of a Grammy-winning hip hop group.

The band, Naughty By Nature, is on stage in Hollywood, 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4.
