Free Holiday Tree Recycling Programs
Recycle holiday trees through a free program offered at various parks.
The bare trees are recycled into mulch for landscaping.
The Broward Parks and Recreation Division’s Chip-A-Tree program accepts two trees per vehicle through Jan. 24 at various parks. Most parks are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Tuesdays, Wednesdays and some holidays.

For America Recycles Day , enjoy a free presentation entitled “Wonderful World of Waste.”
The event features information about recycling and residential trash and includes prizes made from recycled materials.
