For relatively inexpensive travel around Hollywood downtown’s area and Hollywood’s beach, Hollywood offers a trolley. The trolley usually runs Wednesdays to Sundays, but is adding some extra days, including December 27, January 2 and January 3 to its routes. The fee is $1 and free for kids ages 5 and younger. Hollywood is launching its Hollywood Trolley with some free activities. The free event is 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 30 at Hollywood Beach at Johnson Street, and includes entertainment, trolley rides and a treasure hunt with prizes.
