Performers, a parade and art projects are included at a free Storybook Festival at the Southwest Regional Library in south Broward.
The first 1,000 kids receive a free book.
The fun family-friendly event with a Fantasy Forest, face painting, story telling and food trucks is 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. November 17 at the Southwest Regional Library, 16835 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines, 33331, 954-357-6580
Youngsters are encouraged to wear costumes for the Storybook Parade. The event includes storybook photo opportunities.
