Hollywood Broadwalk is a lovely oceanfront promenade

Delightful outdoor spaces are part of the appeal of South Florida.  For walking, biking & rollerblading, lots of folks love Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. The Broadwalk features Hollywood Bandshell offering free live entertainment.

The promenade runs along the Atlantic Ocean with the rolling surf and breezy palms on one side and businesses, restaurants and inns on the other.

The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk is a brick-lined pedestrian walkway that runs more than two miles along the beach. Along the way are shops, restaurants and motels, as well as  the ocean on one side. The Broadwalk is popular with walkers, runners, bicyclists and rollerskaters.

Amenities and events

  • Live entertainment at Hollywood Beach Bandshell at Johnson Street, usually 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays.
  • Vendors offering rentals for bikes, skates & surreys
  • Paddleball and a  beachfront park with shaded seating area, picnic pavilions, playgrounds and a splash fountain for kids

Fees for parking apply. It's $3 an hour Mondays – Thursdays, $4 an hour Fridays – Sundays. Parking information and information about shuttles and other transportation are online.

The promenade runs from Thomas Street to Jefferson Street & includes Johnson Street.
