Inexpensive rabies shots for Broward pets are offered at occasional events, usually at public parks and libraries, presented by Broward animal department
Rabies shots and microchips are only for pets belonging to Broward residents. Microchips are offered for free this year with purchase of rabies vaccine and tag.
The fees are
- $25 for vaccination and tags for dogs and cats that are spayed or neutered
- $35 for non-neutered pets
- free for microchip
The low-cost rabies vaccinations are for pets of Broward residents, and debit cards or credit cards are required for the fees. Dogs need to be on leashes and cats need to be in carriers.
Information about occasional events with inexpensive rabies shots offered by Broward Animal Care and Adoption are on the website.

Hi. We just moved here. How do dog licenses run? January to January or from the month you purchase them for a year? Also how much are they? Thank you.
