Plantation Historical Museum, which offers free entry, features interesting exhibits and displays, including The Everglades, artwork and a vintage fire truck.
The Transportation exhibit, on display to October 7, includes running model trains. The models are provided by Florida Citrus Model Train Society.
The museum is open 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It is closed Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and holidays. Model trains run to 4 p.m.
