Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade in Fort Lauderdale CANCELLED

Because of bad weather, the boat parade has been cancelled for 2023.

Popular and festive, the  Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade features elaborately decorated water crafts floating in formation on The New River & Intracoastal Waterway in Fort Lauderdale.

The event is 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on December 16, 2023,  featuring a prime outdoor watch area in Fort Lauderdale with live entertainment and a jolly vibe. Another watch area is offered on the New River. Discount opportunities are featured for watch areas.

You can buy tickets to watch from the official parade viewing area at Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park for $30. Children 10 and younger are $25. Gates open at 4 p.m. and there will be live entertainment and other activities before the parade starts at 6:30 p.m.

You can also reserve a seat at a restaurant or pub along the route, or pick a place along the waterways. If you're not watching in person, usually the parade is featured live on TV or on Facebook.

At 6 p.m., prior to the parade is a show featuring non-motorized vessels.

The parade route is New River in downtown Fort Lauderdale, from 335 SE 6th Avenue, east to the Intracoastal Waterway, north to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano.

Parade Viewing Area

Events & activities are featured at the official parade viewing area at Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park, 80 Las Olas Circle, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.

Entry is $30 for adults and $25 for children 10 and younger. Gates open at 4 p.m., and festivities include live entertainment.

Parking for the prime watch area includes Las Olas Parking Garage, 200 Las Olas Circle, Fort Lauderdale 33316.  Parking for the event is $30. Parking information for Fort Lauderdale is on the website.

All Saints Episcopal Church Boat Parade Viewing Party

All Saints Episcopal Church offers a Parade Viewing Party on the New River from 5 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $20 if purchased prior to the event online and $25 at the event. Entry is free for ages 9 and younger. Limited parking is $10.

Watch party is presented by All Saints Episcopal Church, 333 Tarpon Drive, Fort Lauderdale. Bring your own chairs. Pets are OK but must be leashed. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.   

The event will include face painting by Bri, kids' games and food trucks.
