Florida state parks, including several in South Florida, are offeringa free entry day for guests who bring a book.
In support of International Literacy Day, most state parks are offering the book-related entry day September 7.
Display a checked out library book, a library card or drop off a family-friendly book.
In Broward, state parks Birch State Park in Fort Lauderdale and Lloyd State Park in Dania Beach. Others in South Florida include Oleta River State Park in North Miami.
Regular fees for boat rentals and other activities are in effect. Information is on the Florida State Parks website.
